An intentional afternoon for Catholic singles discerning marriage
Dating doesn’t have to be confusing—or casual.
If you’re a Catholic single who wants to approach relationships with virtue, clarity, and intentional discernment, this event is for you. The Catholic Winter Singles Event is designed to help young adult singles build real community and have meaningful conversations in a respectful, faith-centered environment.
This is not a high-pressure “matchmaking” event. It’s a formation + community afternoon—grounded in Catholic teaching—created to support those discerning marriage and wanting to date well.
Featured Speakers
Fr. Eric Andersen – Men’s roles in relationships (leadership, intentionality, clarity)
Jillian Kurvers – Women’s roles in relationships (discernment, expectations, virtues)
Together, they will address what it means to date with purpose:
- How to be intentional and self-aware
- Why men should lead with clarity—especially about discerning marriage
- What healthy leadership looks like (and what it is not)
- How women can discern wisely: virtues vs. unrealistic expectations
- The difference between “potential” and true readiness for marriage
- Why formation and virtue matter before any vocation—marriage included
Drawing from Scripture and the saints, the focus is simple:
become the person who can truly give yourself—to a spouse or to the Lord—so you have something real to offer.
